Tora Carey, Fins Attached and CREMA, worked together once again to gather data of two sea turtle species.

Our turtle work started by deploying a turtle net and hand catching the turtles. We caught 2 Hawksbill and one large Green Turtle. They were brought back to the Sharkwater where the turtles were measured, blood samples drawn, tissue samples taken, and the turtles were weight. The scientist also inserted a chip and applied tags. We took care of releasing the small Hawksbill turtle the big Green turtle which weigh in at 73 pounds.
