Crema team monitoring Stingrays and turtles in Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve

Here we are again,teaching and sampling ray in Costa Rica. SHORT TERM PROGRAM TROPICAL MARINE BIOLOGY 2020 We caught a big mama whiptail stingray (Styracura pacifica) in the tidepool from Área Marina de Manejo Cabo Blanco (Reserva Absoluta Cabo Blanco). The stingray was released without problem. Many thanks to the great team CREMA Costa Rica.

This project has the endorsement of the authorities and therefore is carried out, with the respective permits. The animals, after the study, are released immediately, without causing any damage.
