CREMA and Turtle Trax present its recent results on Sea Turtle Conservation during COVID 19 crisis.

As the saying goes: “every cloud has its silver lining.” Despite the global health emergency due to COVID-19, CREMA ‘s small working team continues in the battle to record and ensure to be present at our beaches to protect and conserve the nesting populations of sea turtles in the south of the Nicoya Peninsula. So far, 870 nesting events have been recorded on our beaches, from Costa de Oro to Corozalito.
